The Tsarnaev brothers came to the US as young immigrants with their parents, and both were educated here.

That makes them members of what’s often referred to by immigration scholars as ‘Generation 1.5″².

But what we now know about the two Boston bombing suspects raises questions about the different ways young immigrants assimilate to life in America.
