50 Cent tries to kiss Erin Andrews on live television at Daytona 500

Sports reporter Erin Andrews was trying to find Danica Patrick as she filmed a live spot at the Daytona 500. But as she searched for the NASCAR star, she got sidetracked by an aggressive 50 Cent.

"50 Cent here," she greeted the rapper. 50 Cent apparently took that as an invitation. He leaned forward in an attempt to kiss Andrews, who adeptly dodged her head back in the cramped area just in the nick of time. 50 Cent still managed to kiss her–but at least it was on the cheek, not her lips. The awkward interaction was captured by SB Nation and has been immortalized into a GIF.

It gets better."I've gotta go talk to Danica Patrick," Andrews says as she deflects the kiss. She then turns around to search for the NASCAR star–and 50 Cent follows her.

50 Cent's Twitter explanation shows little self-relection or remorse: "Hey I wanted to kiss herso I did," he posted.

Unfortunately, dodging the advances of entitled rich men seems to be a major job hazard of sports reporting. In another famous example, ESPN's Suzy Kolber once rejected an advance from Jets quarterback Joe Namath on live tv, the LA Times reported
