Boys at California's Piedmont High School started a "Fantasy Slut League" that targets girls and is meant to score and compare their sexual exploits.

Principal Rich Kitchens said administrators found out about the sex league after a Date Rape Prevention assembly, reported Tampa Bay's WTSP News.

Kitchens wrote a letter to parents saying that boys organized "a 'Fantasy Slut League' in which our female students (unbeknownst to most of them) are drafted as part of the league," according to CNN.

"Male students earn points for documented engagement in sexual activities with female students," the principal continued. "Participation often involved pressure/manipulation by older students that included alcohol to impair judgment/control and social demands to be popular."

According to ABC7 News, the "league" is run by varsity team players and had been around for years. School officials have now launched an investigation.

"The revelation that students expressed concern that the fallout could result in discipline and affect their college applications suggests an understanding by students that there is something wrong with the 'Fantasy Slut League,'" Kitchens also wrote in the letter to parents.

CNN also reported that "Achieve the Honorable" is the school's longstanding motto. Piedmont, where the high school is located, is an affluent community with 11,000 residents that overlooks the San Francisco Bay from Oakland Hills.
