George Clooney – single again?

Good news for women everywhere: Hollywood actor George Clooney could soon be on the singles scene again.

According to the New York Daily News, the eternal bachlor is preparing to end his year-long relationship with Stacey Keibler. 

The newspaper says the relationship is on the rocks, and Keibler is worried he will break up with her "any day now".

It quotes a source who saw a tearful Keibler at a function recently, in which she openly broke down throughout the day and needed to be consoled by her agent.

The insider also said the model actress kept checking her phone for messages from Clooney.

“They’re barely talking,” another source said. 

The rumors follow a report last month that the lovebirds had gone their separate ways – a story that was quickly denied by Clooney's rep. 

"A story published by a London tabloid, The Sun, concerning George Clooney and Stacy Keibler is not true. Total fabrication designed to sell newspapers," the actor's rep, Stan Rosenfield, told E! News at the time.

But Clooney's failure to join his girlfriend at functions in recent weeks has sparked speculation.

When Keibler was asked at a New York Fashion week show if Clooney would be joining her one of these days, she told E! News, "I don't know, ask him."
