Spain: Catalonia independence rally draws more than a million (PHOTOS)

The annual independence rally in Catalonia attracted around 1.5 million people in Barcelona on Tuesday, as people protested Spain's tax laws and called for independence for the region.

The BBC noted that Spain's economic crisis has added urgency to Catalonia's demand for independence from Spain.
