Obama behind recent mass shootings, says Megadeth lead singer Mustaine (VIDEO)

Megadeth lead singer Dave Mustaine claims that President Obama was behind the recent shootings at a Sikh temple and a Colorado movie theater.

Obama's plan? To use the mass murders as an excuse to curb gun rights of freedom-loving Americans.

For those who follow the burnt-out heavy metal star's conspiracies, his claims come as no surprise.

Mustaine has a history of bizarre predictions, tall tales, racist rants and tin foil hat theories, including boiler plate fare like the president was born in Kenya (or "somewhere else than America"), reported Rolling Stone, and the so-called new world order and coming global government.

Mustaine's recent mutterings came during a concert in Singapore (I know, they must think we're crazy) where he said to the bewildered concert-goers:

“My president,” he told the crowd, making a dramatic gagging gesture, reported Salon, “is trying to pass a gun ban. So he’s staging all of these murders, like the ‘Fast And Furious’ thing down at the border, in Aurora, Colo., all the people that were killed there, and now the beautiful people at the Sikh temple… I don’t know where I’m gonna live if America keeps going the way it’s going because it looks like it’s turning into Nazi America.

The crowd was not impressed.

During his speech the audience fell silent and someone shouted "We love Obama!"
