Madonna was booed in Paris for a concert last night that lasted only 45 minutes, as French fans called her a slut and demanded a refund.

The pop star said the show was intended to be a celebration of tolerance and diversity after her controversial Bastille Day concert, where she showed images of far-right National Front party leader Marie Le Pen with a swastika on her forehead, according to ABC News. But apparently the show, which was live-streamed on YouTube, was too short for Paris fans, who booed Madonna after she left the stage and didn't come back, chanting what sounded like "salope," which can mean "slut" or "bitch," and "rembourser," which means "refund."

By this morning, the YouTube channel that broadcasted the event disabled comments and had more than 12,000 dislikes, reported CBS News.

Fans were also invited to tweet about the show, but that backfired too, according to Billboard. Audience members used the hashtag #MDNAParis to air their complaints. And when the show was rebroadcast? Well, the concert gets cut off, just before Madonna leaves the stage, leaving fans in a lurch.

Some concertgoers had camped outside the Olympia club venue since Wednesday in anticipation of the show, reported BBC News. The 2,000 tickets sold out in minutes, with fans paying between £80 ($125) and £200 ($315), and some paid as much as £1,000 ($1572) per ticket.

BBC also said that Madonna was criticized for talking politics during her Paris show instead of singing for the full 45 minutes.
