Anna Paquin is expecting with twins with her "True Blood" co-star Stephen Moyer.

That's according to a widely cited statement from Sam Trammell, who also stars in the smash-hit HBO series about vampires in the American deep south.

Trammell, who plays Sam Merlotte on the show and is also a father of twins, told Us Weekly magazine: "I'm so excited for them. We sent them a special gift. It's so interesting that 'True Blood' has become like, the 'twins' show."

When asked about the news of twins by Mail Online, a spokesperson for Paquin, 29, who plays Sookie Stackhouse on "True Blood," replied: "No comment."

The LA Times wrote that Paquin and Moyer announced the pregnancy in April, after near the end of filming for Season 5 of "True Blood."

Moyer, 42, who has two children, Lilac, 10, and Billy, 12, from a previous relationship, spoke to Zap2it.com about the pregnancy: "It's always amazing. I love my kids so much. And I think the fact that Anna is pregnant just adds more crazy to the bundle of fun."

Todd Lowe, who plays Terry Bellefleur, told Celebuzz: "I think she is due right before we start [filming] the sixth season. I know that her stunt double has had more work than needed before. I know that, and they’re pretty creative with staging and costuming."

Oscar winner Paquin met Moyer — a British actor who plays Bill Compton on the program — on the set of True Blood and the two married in Malibu in August 2010.

Paquin won the academy Award for her performance in 1993 movie "The Piano," according to IMDB.com.
