Nadal’s $370,000 stolen watch recovered by French police

Police in Paris have recovered a watch worth US$370,0000 that was stolen from the hotel room of tennis player Rafael Nadal.
Sport24 reports that the watch went missing on Monday, a day after Nadal won the Roland Garros tournament for a record seventh time.
It had been lent to him by luxury watchmaker Richard Mille for the the tournament, and was reported missing by Nadal's parents, who were sharing the room, according to AFP.

Nadal was seen wearing the watch after he held on to beat Novak Djokovic in the rain-delayed men's final, USA Today says.
News.com.au says that a hotel barman had been arrested over the theft and confessed to taking the watch.
AAP reports that he took police to the spot where he had hidden it, along a railway track near his home in Essonne, south of Paris.
