The Atlantic’s photo blog, “In Focus,” has a “before and after” feature on the Japanese earthquake, which took place on March 11, 2011.
The twenty photos on the Atlantic’s photo blog allow you to compare how places looked right after the devastating quake, with how they look now that clean up efforts are well underway.
