Mohammed Wardi, Sudan's musical icon, died Saturday at the age of 80.
Wardi sang not only songs of love, but also of politics.
His leaft-leaning political views often got him into trouble with the Sudanese government.
He was buried Sunday in a ceremony attended by tens of thousands of Sudanese including President Omar al-Bashir.
