This incredible photo was named World Press Photo of the Year. It shows Fatima Al Qaws and her 18-year-old son, Zayed in Yemen.

The BBC has now talked with Fatima Al Qaws in Sana'a. This incredible photo ran on the frontpage of the New York Times last October. It was taken in Yemen's capital Sana'a.

The woman is Fatima Al Qaws and the man in her arms is her 18-year-old son, Zayed. Zayed had been tear-gassed at an anti-government protest in Sana'a.

The picture was taken by Spanish photographer Samuel Aranda and has recently been named World Press Photo of the Year. The BBC spoke with Fatima Al Qaws in Sana'a.
