The Dust-to-Digital label is at the forefront of a new school of record labels that scours the world's music bins to discover, polish and bring to light forgotten music.
They have done it on compilations like "Goodbye Babylon" and "Black Mirror". The label's latest offering is a four CD collection of African music from 78-rpm records, spanning the continent and most of the 20th century. It is called "Opika Pende". Bruce Wallace has the story.
