The real-life of early French filmmaker Georges MéliÃ¨s inspired the central character of author Brian Selznick's book "The Invention of Hugo Cabret" and the movie adaptation by Martin Scorsese. Anchor Marco Werman speaks with MéliÃ¨s' granddaughter and with film historian Glenn Myrent, who just saw the film, "Hugo" in Paris.
Also featured in the interview: "The Extraordinary Voyage—A trip to The Moon" is a documentary about the lost and found, then restored hand-painted version of Georges MéliÃ¨s' 1902 film "A Trip to the Moon." This version also include a soundtrack by Air. It will be released in early 2012 by Flicker Alley and in select theaters.
