Larry Flynt going after Rick Perry?

GlobalPost

Politics is dirty. So, too, is porn.

Those two worlds may have just come together, according to TMZ.

TMZ says Larry Flynt, the publisher of Hustler magazine, is "offering up to $1 million for anyone who can prove (Texas Gov. Rick) Perry has had an illicit sexual liaison."

Here are the money quotes, according to the TMZ scoop:

The ad — which Flynt will take out in various newspapers — says, "Have you had a gay or straight sexual encounter with Governor Rick Perry?"

Flynt — clearly not a fan of Perry, who opposes same-sex marriage and is generally very conservative on social issues — has done this before, but didn't limit his targets to Republicans. In 1998, he offered a similar bounty for dirt on Bill Clinton. And he's made similar offers for info on all members of Congress.

Our friends at Business Insider are also on the case:

Rumors about Perry's alleged sexual dalliances have circulated for years, although there is absolutely no evidence he has had extramarital affairs. A Ron Paul supporter also recently took out ad in a Texas alternative newspaper soliciting information about Perry's alleged sexual encounters. He told Business Insider he has spoken to "at least three women" and one man with knowledge of Perry's affairs.
