Biden in China to Defend US Economics

Vice President Joe Biden is in China. Part of his remit is to reassure Chinese leaders that their more than a trillion dollars worth of US debt is safe. But another reason for the visit is to take the measure of Biden's VP counterpart: Xi Jinping, the person likely to succeed President Hu Jintao in 2013.
