For today’s Geo Quiz, we were looking for the name of a region in Canada that gave its name to a late 19th century gold rush. The answer is the Klondike in Canada’s Yukon Territory. Mining for gold is still going on there today. Anchor Marco Werman speaks with Mike MacDougal of the Klondike Placer Miners’ Association in Whitehorse.
