The Maasai are an indigenous African ethnic group…their traditional territory lies between Lake Victoria and the Indian Ocean. Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater are also close neighbors. Their homelands extend into two east African nations…The very two we want you to name.

Maasai warriors once hunted lions … nowadays they’re more apt to be herding cattle. But they still wear scarlet robes and carry spears.

Now a group of 6 Maasai warriors has travelled all the way to London. They hope to raise enough money to provide clean drinking water for their village back home. They’re competing in this weekend’s London marathon.

Look for the 6 runners along the Thames wearing bright red robes and chanting…you can’t miss ’em.
