Portable light kits and the Huichol people

Mexico’s Huichol people aren’t on the power grid. But a new technology may bring them light. American designers and architects are distributing a textile there that absorbs the sun’s rays during the day, and gives off light at night. The World’s technology correspondent Jason Margolis has more.
