Severe water shortages in Iraq are affecting the cultivation of the country’s signature anbar rice. In recent years, the country has experienced record high temperatures. Climate change is one aspect of the problem, but geopolitics is also playing a major role. The World’s Sara Hassan speaks to a farmer in southern Iraq about how he’s been impacted.
