The greenest city in Europe

A mixed-use mini-city on the outskirts of Vienna showcases what’s possible for green building, mobility and sustainability. Aspern-Seestadt is a net-zero energy, live/work community. Residents are given a grocery trolley instead of a parking space (you can walk to stores) and buildings produce electricity instead of consuming it. Reporter Amanda Peacher takes listeners through Europe’s greenest new city.
