The bridge, the ship and the law

Legal issues have been raised by the March 26 collision of a Singapore-owned ship into Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge. Because the accident took place on the water, international maritime law may pertain to the rights of the crew and the owners of the container ship M/V Dali.
