When most people imagine migrants arriving in Europe, they probably picture crowded dinghies arriving by sea. But some refugees are also attempting a less well-known but equally treacherous journey through high Alpine passages in Italy and France. Betsy Joles reports from a French city near the border with Italy, where volunteers are working to keep migrants safe along this trek.
