Land border reopens and Canadian ‘snowbirds’ head south

The land border reopened today for vaccinated Canadians visiting the United States, ending restrictions that had been in place since the pandemic was declared. Emma Jacobs reports that many Canadians used to driving down to the US for the summer can resume their practices, while it’s still costly and challenging for those who cross the border on a regular basis to do errands or visit family.
