Disney debuts anthology of African animation

A new compilation of African animated films called “Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire,” debuts on Disney+. It’s a 10-part series produced in collaboration with a South Africa-based animation studio. Ekene Okobi reports from a recent conference on African animation in Burbank, California, on what this new film suggests about the trends in animation on the continent.
