DACA financial aid

Undocumented college students do not qualify for federal financial aid, including loans, even if they are DACA recipients. For tuition purposes, they are considered foreigners so they often don’t qualify for in-state tuition. But concerned about the low graduation rate among these students, some states are starting to provide financial assistance. Stephanie Daniel of member station KUNC reports on Colorado’s efforts to make schools more affordable.
