Victoria Farmer

Sr. Manager, Audience Development

I’m PRI’s audience development manager, and I’m here as a part of a two-year public fellowship with the American Council of Learned Societies. These fellowships put Humanities PhDs to work in the public sector. My academic training is in literature, gender studies, and sociology, and I’m passionate about understanding why people do what they do and about listening to underrepresented voices. During my fellowship, I’m exploring digital analytics and marketing techniques in order to learn more about who PRI’s diverse and interesting audiences are, and to serve them better through our brand of empathetic global storytelling, both in broadcast and in digital.
