Neil Shaw

Neil Shaw is a filmmaker based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Neil Shaw has worked as a videographer (cameraman, video editor, broadcast journalist and producer) in the film and television industries since 1999.Neil has produced over 125 news inserts and nine documentaries for the UNHCR, UNICEF, UNDP, UNAIDS, Associated Press Television News, the BBC, Al Jazeera, M-NET, SABC, E-tv, Southern Africa Direct and South African Airways. He uses his own professional Canon HD equipment.His documentaries and five short films have screened at international film festivals such as the Zanzibar International Film Festival and the Rotterdam International Film Festival.Neil has a BA degree (English and International Relations), an Honours degree (African Politics) and a Masters degree (Film and Television) from the University of Cape Town.
