Julia Harte is a reporter for the Center for Public Integrity.

Julia Harte comes to the Center for Public Integrity after completing a US News summer internship at The Wall Street Journal.She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009 with a B.A. in History and received a Master’s degree in 2014 from the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism at Columbia University.In between, she was based in Istanbul, Turkey, reporting on politics, immigration, human rights, energy policy and environmental issues. Her reporting has appeared in National Geographic, Al Jazeera America, Foreign Policy, The World Policy Journal, Global Post, and Inside Climate News, among others.At the Center for Public Integrity, she looks forward to reporting on national security issues such as arms control in the Middle East, immigrant detention policy in the US, and cybersecurity.
