Jo Erickson

Jo started her career as a reporter for British newspapers before turning to broadcast and a string of positions at the BBC. She has worked in audio, video, social media and graphics for TV, radio and online. She has done investigative reporting and produced international news. Among other stories, she covered the Haiti earthquake, the war in Congo and the London riots.She has freelanced for The Guardian, The Mirror, Easy Living, Psychology Pride, Red, Sugar and AXM magazine. She also worked for Minnesota’s Mint Press News and, in a prior reality, filmed 10 shorts for a Lucas Films doc about Star Wars — Revenge of the Sith.Jo Erickson is the former social media producer for Across Women's Lives, PRI's special coverage on gender equity and the role of women in society.
