Herbert Busiku is the Director of Ugandan Operations for Computers For Africa (CFA), a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to sustainable information technology development in Africa. To date, they’ve served over 70,000 students in 132 communities, while reducing e-waste by sending quality equipment, and providing repair classes.
Busiku has worked in information & Communications Technology (ICT) for ten years from his hometown in Kampala, and has partnered with the Ugandan government to expand infrastructure for ICT. He focuses primarily in the war-torn area of Northern Uganda, providing computers and lessons to former child soldiers. In this region, CFA has supplied 50 percent of all high schools with labs.
