Andrew Lam is the author of three books, "Perfume Dreams: Reflections on the Vietnamese Diaspora," "East Eats West: Writing in Two Hemispheres" and "Birds of Paradise Lost." He will spend a year beginning in 2018 in Vietnam to write about human trafficking and the Vietnam in the 21st century. He is also working on another book of short stories, and a novel.
