Adele Sire

Adeline Sire produces news stories and art features for "PRI's The World."  Focusing on global cultural aspects, she looks for compelling voices in the news and in the art world. Her assignments range from producing news segments for the program, to writing music and arts on-air reports, including the daily music segment, the Global Hit.
Before joining the staff at "PRI's The World," Adeline produced features for PRI’s art and culture weekly program "Studio360," WBUR’s daily news magazine "Here and Now" and WBUR’s Morning Edition. Her work has received two awards from the National Federation of Community Broadcasters.
Adeline edited and produced two audio Listening Guides for the classical record label Deutsche Grammophon on composer Osvaldo Golijov’s works “Ainadamar–Fountain of Tears” in 2006, and “La Pasión según San Marcos” in 2010.
She was a fellow of the USC Annenberg / Getty Arts Journalism Program in 2008, and a fellow of the NEA Arts Journalism Institute in Classical Music and Opera in 2009.
Adeline grew up in France. She is also a musician and a Baroque music freak, among other things.
