Israel’s other front — Lebanon

Israel carried out a series of strikes in Lebanon on Wednesday after rockets launched from there killed and injured several people. Earlier this week, Israeli drone strikes hit the heart of Lebanese capital, Beirut, killing two people. The main target was a Hamas official who survived the attack. Israel and Hezbollah have been trading tit-for-tat strikes since Oct. 7. The World’s Shirin Jaafari reports on a new French proposal that aims to end the fighting.
