UN: Famine could hit Somalia next month

A dire warning from the United Nations — famine could hit parts of Somalia as early as next month. Food insecurity is being driven by a historic drought and delayed grain shipments from Ukraine. The last famine in the Horn of Africa, a decade ago, killed more than 250,000 people. Aid groups say the international community needs to step forward to avoid a similar fate. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with Petroc Wilton with the World Food Program in Somalia, who recently visited the country.
