Bob talks to John Hockenberry and Adaora Udoji, hosts of the new morning news show from PRI.

"The Takeaway" is public radio's new national morning news program co-produced by WNYC and PRI, in editorial collaboration with the BBC, The New York Times Radio, and WGBH. The show premiered on April 28 in New York, Boston and several other markets across the U.S., as well as online, at thetakeaway.org.

"The Takeaway" hosts John Hockenberry and Adaora Udoji join Bob to talk about their plans for the program, how their show is different from "Morning Edition," and the extraordinary news partnership between "The Takeaway," The New York Times, and the BBC.

"Bob Edwards Weekend" is a two-hour interview showcase, in which celebrated host Bob Edwards highlights the life and work of interesting people, from newsmakers, historians, and authors to artists, actors, and regular folks too. The show is produced by XM Satellite Radio and distributed nationwide by PRI.
