John McCain on 'The Tavis Smiley Show'

While the Democratic candidates continue to hammer away at eachother in a battle for nomination, Republican Senator John McCain waits in the wings -- and if recent polls are any gauge, waiting has served him well, as they show him creeping ahead of both of his potential Democratic rivals in head-to-head match-ups.

But Senator McCain has hardly been able to relax in the weeks since he sealed up his party's nomination -- he's had to face concerns over his ability to woo donors and religious conservatives, along with serious questions about the war in Iraq, and the worsening economy here at home.
