The Alliance for Women in Media announced today that two PRI programs have been recognized in the categories of Outstanding Interview Program or Feature and Outstanding Special or Variety.
 
Studio 360 from PRI and WNYC won for its “Golden Age for Women in Hollywood” interview about the growing success of women in independent film making. Maya Angelou’s Black History Month Special featured milestone conversations between Angelou and lauded African Americans from the Grammy's to the Emmy's, Academy Awards, and Nobel Prize categories.
