Turn your COVID-19 mask into flowers

Dutch graphic designer Marianne de Groot-Pons has created a completely biodegradable COVID-19 mask made of rice paper. It also includes flower seeds (between layers of the rice paper). It’s a disposable mask but when you’re done with it, you plant it (the entire mask!) in your garden or flower box. Marco Werman speaks with Marianne de Groot-Pons about what inspired her to create her Earth-friendly mask.
