Sudan to normalize relations with Israel

After setting aside decades of animosity, Sudan and Israel are on the brink of normalizing relations. The announcement came from the White House on Friday, with US President Trump presenting it as a foreign policy win for his administration. If the plan goes through, Sudan would become the third Arab nation to repair relations with Israel during the Trump administration. The UAE and Bahrain both officially recognized the Jewish state last month. Host Carol Hills speaks with The World’s reporter Halima Gikandi.
