But that could just be the beginning for this privately owned space vehicle. lenette Technology Sat, 26 May 2012 22:04:42 -0500 i&#039;m surprised no one has commented on this...<br /> <br /> since congress has decommissioned our space program, and it looks as though president newt is not going to be ruling anytime soon, dragon is our only hope for maintaining a presence &#039;out there&#039;.<br /> it&#039;s exciting, interesting, and fascinating to watch the achievements of mr. musk and spacex. he is spending an almost incomprehensible amount of money to develop this program and it&#039;s a sad commentary on our society that such a lofty accomplishment is not receiving more recognition.<br /> <br /> elon musk is a true visionary. we are lucky to have a private citizen who is willing to spend his own fortune to provide the means by which the united states can continue the exploration of space.<br /> <br /> i commend him.
