Across the world, scientists are trying to determine where seasons are shifting. Spring arriving earlier, winter arriving later — it's happening in many countries. Now, the question is, what will be the consequences of that change.

Not a surprise, but thanks for publicizing this. People will regret that they(we) have ignored the climate change phenomena. After all, it's not the planet that's in trouble, it's mankind that's in trouble (being that we're the only species capable of effecting the necessary changes to slow the process).

The planet will be here long after we have annihilated ourselves.

How is it that, with so much emerging data, there are still so many who refuse to consider the reality of change?

For all we know these changes in weather are due to natural rhythms of the Earth's climate cycle. We've had many changes in climate in the past. How many Ice Ages in just the recent history of the 6 billion year old planet! Perhaps H.A.A.R.P. or other weather modification technologies are to blame? We don't really know.
