What women wear in Olympic competition generating considerable attention

There was a proposal to require certain female athletes, used to competing in shorts, to switch to skirts. After an outcry, that proposal was rejected. But what women wear when competing in the Olympics remains a hot-button topic.

Cover them with burkas- problem solved!
They'll be judged on their performance and not appearance, and besides, females are delicate beings, they shouldn't be in sports, it's much too dangerous for them :)

We should also ban immodest males from exposing their bodies when they score goals or win- such bodily exposure gets females and gay males lusting after them- this is sinful and leads to the downfall of all civilisations. I myself struggle to contain myself when I see women half naked, or the torso of a lean muscular man.

Mac, this is such a limited view, and fails to take into account the feelings of a huge number of women across the world, whether Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Jewish or just plain modest! Haven't you noticed that since beach volleyball has allowed more choice in what the women players wear, many of them are opting to wear leggings and long-sleeved shirts? Much more practical than silly bikinis when dealing with sand!

i think this is not a topic to discuss what girls wear in Olympic. players have wear their dress according to their game. women is saree cannot play any game.
