Ms. De Sousa is trying a bit too hard to paint herself as a mere victim in this unfortunate drama. It would be helpful to hear from others about this case, rather than hearing, yet again, how Ms. De Sousa has had to accept the consequences of her decision to work as a CIA operative. Tragic? Perhaps, but spare us the "I'm only doing this because the rendition program was ill-advised" line when you have already secured a book deal.
