Commentators suggest Obama took a political risk in backing same-sex marriage

On Wednesday, in an interview with ABC News, President Barack Obama declared his personal support for same-sex marriage. But some commentators say that may cost him electoral support, particularly with African-American voters.

The question has arisen why Obama's position was evolving for 4 years, and it suddenly hatched at the start of his re-election campaign. It surely is a new campaign strategy to harness 100% of the gay vote, and reports today on other news channels say that political contributions to Obama's campaign are surging in - apparently from the gay community.
There is no question that Obama will lose voters for his position, but, apparently, he banks to offset the loses - given the boisterous style of gay groups and activities.

The gay marriage issue is blown by strong cross-winds across the political spectrum, and Obama's evolution into a "Yes" for gay marriage is certainly not a "Golden Egg." But we have to wait and see if that "Egg" turns out to be "golden plated," or if he will get it in the face! Nikos Retsos, retired professor

I don't undstand Black folks we have soooo many gay folks in our families. Ya might not like it but those are the facts
lets worry and eradicate those family members that are molesting the children daaaaa
