According to figures, that community breaks overwhelmingly for President Barack Obama, but in the last election they didn't turn out in great numbers to vote in the last election. Will that change? Politics and Society Tue, 18 Sep 2012 08:08:37 -0500 It is time for the Latino organizations to fully support Obama, this did not happen in 2010, Latino's turnout was dismal as was all Dem's. Look at the results, GOP took over the House and many governorship's. This was a disaster for Latino's and all American middle class. The GOP waged war on the working class, elderly, poor, minorities, etc. We cannot let this happen again in 2012.We Independents will support Obama against the fanatical religious right and tea bagging lunatics that control the Republican party. Lets work to get all registered to vote, knock on doors, help get those to the polls who don't have transportation. Lets have the largest turnout in history to reelect Dem's in November. It is our last chance to save the American middle class, Social Security/Medicare, Medicaid and all the social safety net program. We the people have worked many years for livable wages, and benefits. The GOP would end this era of the rise of the middle class. Another four years of Republican control, we would see the rich get richer and the rest of the nation poorer.
