So which one of the three directors wins the Oliver Stone Award for the mangled revision of history?

Bigelow again?
I thought she already won a "Stoney" for the invention of a maverick (yet living) bomb diffuser in The Hurt Locker.

Remember when her ex-husband James Cameron equipped rescuers in "Titanic" flashlights even though flashlights had not yet been invented?

A small historical boo-boo point, I know, especially compared to every moment in earlier films like "They Died With Their Boots On," Hollywood's story of George Armstrong Custer, or pretty much any other film of that era based on a real person or event.

(with the exception of Gone With The Wind which included a historically accurate depiction of a burning town and used real flames for the purpose)

You could argue that Hollywood is getting better at sticking to reality, but then again, that's not their business, is it?

They just can't help themselves.
