Charles Krafft has generated a wide following for his provocative art. But until recently, he wasn't especially controversial. But a reporter recently uncovered, and confirmed, that Krafft doesn't believe in the Holocaust.

I think the casual assessment of his works has gone from "Huh, he really likes using Hitler" to "Huh, he really likes Hitler."

I think it is appropriate for museums to continue to put on display racially and ethnically controversial artists' work. However, it should be done within the proper context. Art should inspire, and so, hopefully, by doing this, a new generation of artists will be inspired to produce works that offer the OPPOSITE message of what racist artists like Kraft portray or represent.

I liked the level headed tone of this article and the comments above. After reading the Stranger article I was struck by the arrogant tone of the self appointed thought patrolling. The idea that there is this mandated belief that you must conform to in order to keep your career is silly. Most people today believe that all white countries need diversity while we must support an ethnostate in Israel. This is an odd belief that cannot be sustained.
