The much awaited World Cup in Brazil has kicked off amid parties and protests. Brazilian journalist and writer Juliana Barbassa has been watching the changes that her hometown, Rio de Janeiro, has been going through in preparation for the World Cup and the 2016 Olympics. Daniel Alarcón spoke to Juliana about these changes and about her upcoming book on the subject.
