John Hodgman is a Former Professional Literary Agent, Famous Minor Television Personality, and Noted Writer.

Hodgman is a contributor to "The Daily Show" and the author of two books, the more recent of which is titled "More Information Than You Require."  He has recently gained fame as the conservatively-suited, square-looking fellow on Apple's Mac computer television and print advertising campaign.

Host Jesse Thorn humorously grills Hodgman about several topics, including the notion that his first book, which Hodgman claimed as "An Almanac of Complete World Knowledge", could be followed by a second volume.

The brainchild of host and producer Jesse Thorn, "The Sound of Young America" is an irreverent weekly arts and entertainment interview program, described by its creator as "a public radio show about things that are awesome."
